The 2012 Back to School Bash was a big success! – A big thank you to the over 225 volunteers - Yes there was hours of preparation & organizing – moving stuff out & back to the event - dealing with encouraging and rotating volunteers – handing out backpacks and supplies - handing out bottled water – helping people park - preparing food for 3000 – filming the event - making everyone feel secure – guiding folks at the pool - providing volunteers food and drink – giving kids memories on inflatables and climbing the giant wall – listening and talking to people - Being the voice of the mission of the community of Branson – We clearly had highest number to date – We believe over 3200 came to attend in that we served over 2900 hot dogs - We gave out the most amount of backpacks/supplies at over 1625. – That makes over 9000 in 6 years with a value of over $120,000. – The mayor of Branson Raeanne Presleycame by again to say thanks – Over 225 volunteers from ages young to old served the thousands – & you get incredible praise for partnering with us by sponsoring, giving, promoting, serving at the event! Thank you so much!
