The 2011 Back to School Bash happened on August 7th- We had over 2500 people. People came for a free swim at the Rec Plex pool and some fun on one of 6 large inflatables. Kids got free face painting  and  fun crafts - The Branson Fire Department brought their largest ladder truck, CPR training and a helicopter from St. John's Lifeline for fun This was our 5th annual Back to School Bash - We have given over 7500 backpacks and supplies. This year we added NEW: Family photos free (while supplies last) and NEW: Free eye screening from Mattax Neu Prater Eye Center for kids 4 to 9 years old - also kids got on the climbing wall, making crafts or picking up a free backpack and school supply kit (we did run out this year)! That was our first in 5 years to completely run out. We want to thank all of our sponsors who donated the money to buy the  backpack sets. We want to thank the Rec Plex staff including Ben and Cindy who make our community adventure incredibly smooth.
